Live like a noble in Clauiano, Italy.
In the second half of the 17th century, Villa Manin Guerresco was built by the family of Manin Counts as a holiday home at the center of a farm estate. Designed to reflect the tastes of Venetian nobility in the late 1600s, Villa Manin represents a refined way of life enjoyed by wealthy Venetians seeking respite in the tranquil Friulian countryside.
Today Villa Manin is open for tours, tastings and special events. Some lucky travelers can rent the villa as a holiday home. The Villa has been featured frequently in European home and design magazines.
Throughout the Villa guests will be charmed by elegant frescoes and period furnishings.
The “piano nobile” (noble floor) consists of a central hall, completely covered with frescos, four side rooms, two frescoed living rooms, a dining room and a rustic kitchen with the original beamed ceiling and terracotta tile floors.
On the upper floor, a large vestibule/sitting room, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a small kitchen can be found. In the guest house connected to the Villa, there are three more double bedrooms with two bathrooms.
The Folador or Barchessa, the rustic building situated in the grounds of the Villa, is nowadays used as a hall to host receptions. It's a beautiful stone space shaped like a long rectangle with an open air receiving patio.
Villa Manin Guerresco’s garden includes a veranda, a swimming pool, a cottage and a private chapel.
